I am a GIS analyst from the Tampa Bay area of Florida. With 5+ years of experience, I have used GIS to analyze and map topics in urban geography, human geography, water management, wildlife research, LiDAR, and flooding.

I am currently a master’s student at the University of South Florida’s School of Geosciences. My current work includes my thesis, which focuses on using GIS to develop flood preparation resources with summer camps in Alabama, and my role as a teaching assistant for undergraduate GIS courses.

I started in the field working with anthropologists and historians, and my favorite part of GIS is how maps can be used for storytelling. In a world full of data, GIS helps make sense of it through analysis and mapping. Whether working with large-scale datasets or bringing forgotten histories to light, GIS will continue to shape how we see and interact with the world, and I am excited to keep contributing to that work.
